2 Crucial Tests to Secure a Smooth Beauty Launch
Before finalizing your formula and packaging, make sure they’re a match
You’ve nailed your formulation, defined your brand vision, and selected the packaging you love. But before moving forward, there’s one critical step: testing.
Many brands underestimate how much technical testing can determine a product’s success after launch. To help you move faster with confidence, CTKCLIP offers pre-tested 'Speed to Market' formulations that have already undergone essential stability and compatibility testing—so you can skip months of trial and error.
Here are two key tests that ensure your product stays safe, stable, and launch-ready:
1. CT (Compatibility Test)
“Will this packaging suit my formula?”
When a formula and packaging don't work well together, the result can be leaky pumps, discolored creams, or altered textures. This test ensures your chosen packaging and formula won’t chemically react or degrade over time.
✅ Why it matters: Even if everything looks great at first, improper compatibility can cause unexpected issues—after products are on the shelf.
✅ What to do: Once your formula and packaging are finalized, test them together under various conditions (temperature, time, etc.). This process checks for long-term safety and stability.
2. Stability Test
“How long will my product stay effective?”
Stability testing predicts the real-world shelf life of your product. It simulates months (or years) of storage to see how the formula performs over time—visually, functionally, and chemically.
✅ Why it matters: A product that separates, changes color, or smells off can lead to customer complaints or even regulatory concerns.
✅ What to do: Both long-term and accelerated stability tests should be done before finalizing claims like “12M” or “24M” shelf life.
Speed to Market = Less Waiting, Less Worry
Typical testing takes 3–6 months—what if you could skip that? Our Ready to Market lineup features formulas that have already passed both compatibility and stability testing. You can start developing right away—cutting months off your timeline while reducing product risks.
Launch faster. Launch smarter.
Testing can be complex and time-consuming—but you don’t have to do it alone. At CTKCLIP, we’ve already prepared everything you need to move forward with confidence.
